Game description:

Mini Militia is a 2D shooting game focused on multiplayer battles and fast movement across compact maps. Matches support up to six players online, with each player controlling an armed character using dual-stick movement and aiming. There is no story campaign in the main multiplayer mode. The objective is to defeat other players, survive enemy attacks, and use the map layout, weapons, and jetpack movement to gain an advantage.

Movement and Combat

Movement is one of the main parts of the gameplay. Characters can run, jump, and use a jetpack to fly through the map, reach higher platforms, escape attacks, or approach enemies from another direction. Shooting and movement happen at the same time, so players need to control their position while aiming. Different weapons have different ranges and firing behavior, which changes how close the player needs to be to an opponent.

The main gameplay includes:

  •         fighting other players in online matches;
  •         moving with dual-stick controls;
  •         using a jetpack to fly around maps;
  •         collecting and using different weapons;
  •         fighting across more than 20 maps;
  •         playing custom games with friends;
  •         using the offline Survival mode against enemies.

Maps and Game Modes

Mini Militia does not use traditional story levels. Instead, players fight on separate multiplayer maps with different layouts, platforms, open areas, and narrow sections. The official description states that the game contains more than 20 maps. These maps are designed around movement and combat rather than exploration or mission objectives. Online multiplayer is the main mode, while custom matches allow players to play directly with friends.

How to Play

A match starts by placing the player on a combat map with weapons available during the battle. The player moves around, searches for opponents, attacks them, and uses the jetpack to control vertical movement. Staying in one place usually makes the character easier to hit, so constant movement is important. Players also need to watch ammunition, weapon range, and nearby enemies while moving through the map.

Mini Militia also includes an offline Survival mode. In this mode, the player fights enemies without joining an online multiplayer match. The basic controls remain the same, with shooting, movement, and jetpack use forming the core of play. The game is therefore built around repeated combat matches rather than a linear story or a sequence of campaign missions.
