R.E.P.O.

R.E.P.O. is an online cooperative horror game where players work together to locate and extract valuable objects from abandoned locations filled with lurking threats. Armed with a physics-based grabbing tool, up to six players must carefully transport items while navigating dark and dangerous environments. The game features proximity voice chat, adding a layer of strategy, as speaking too loudly can attract unwanted attention. With limited resources and unpredictable dangers, players must decide when to take risks and when to remain silent.

Physics-Based Mechanics and Environmental Hazards

One of the unique aspects of R.E.P.O. is its physics-driven gameplay, where both objects and monsters follow realistic movement rules. Heavy objects like furniture and machinery require teamwork to transport, while fragile items demand careful handling to prevent breaking. The unpredictability of the environment, combined with dynamic enemy behavior, forces players to adapt quickly. Upgrades, Survival, and Team Strategy

Players can use in-game earnings, known as SURPLUS, to purchase upgrades and tools that enhance their chances of survival. These include better equipment for transporting objects, defensive items, and enhancements to robotic components that improve efficiency. Since each mission presents different challenges, teams must coordinate their loadout choices to maximize success. The game encourages strategic teamwork, where every decision—whether to push forward or retreat—can determine whether the job is completed or the team is overrun.
