Game description:

XenoFeels is a space customs simulation where the player works alone at a checkpoint located on a small asteroid. Every day, ships arrive from different parts of the galaxy carrying tourists, truckers, and other travelers. Some of them are terrorists trying to reach the player’s home planet. The main objective is to inspect each visitor carefully and prevent dangerous impostors from passing through the checkpoint.

Checking Each Traveler

Most of the gameplay is based on comparing information. Each alien presents documents, and the player has to compare photographs and written data with the traveler’s actual appearance and vehicle. Suspicious details can appear in several places, so simply checking one document is not enough. A visitor may have incorrect information, a poor disguise, fake license plates, or prohibited objects hidden inside a vehicle.

The inspection process focuses on several types of evidence:

  •         documents and personal information;
  •         the photograph of the traveler;
  •         the alien’s visible appearance;
  •         the vehicle;
  •         license plates;
  •         objects or cargo carried inside the vehicle.

Decisions at the Checkpoint

After examining the available evidence, the player decides how to deal with the traveler. The basic task is to identify impostors before they pass the checkpoint. XenoFeels also gives the customs officer a service shotgun, which can be used against suspicious visitors. However, the game allows the player to make incorrect decisions as well, including attacking innocent travelers. These choices are part of the game’s decision-based structure and can affect how events develop.

Story and Daily Shifts

The story centers on the customs officer’s repeated shifts and the pressure of protecting the home planet. Missing even one terrorist can lead to the destruction of that planet, so every inspection is connected to the main situation rather than being a separate minigame. As the work continues, the officer also begins experiencing strange psychological effects, including voices and unusual events near the end of the day.

XenoFeels does not use traditional stages built around combat or exploration. Progress is organized around working days and arriving travelers, with the same inspection system becoming the main structure of play. The Steam page also identifies choices, story elements, and multiple endings as parts of the game. This means progression depends on repeated inspections and player decisions rather than completing conventional levels.
