Asriel Fight Simulator is a fan-made battle game based on the final Asriel Dreemurr encounter from Undertale. The player controls the heart inside the battle box and tries to survive a sequence of attacks inspired by Asriel’s original boss fight. There is usually little or no separate story outside the battle itself. The main objective is to avoid projectiles, survive each attack pattern, and continue until the fight reaches its ending or the player is defeated.

Surviving Asriel’s Attack Patterns

Most of the gameplay takes place inside the battle box. The player moves the heart around the available space while Asriel launches different projectile patterns. These can include stars, beams, fire-like attacks, moving obstacles, and attacks that fill large parts of the screen. Each pattern has its own timing, so the player needs to watch where safe spaces appear and react before the next wave begins.

The main gameplay includes:

  •         moving the heart inside the battle box;
  •         dodging waves of projectiles;
  •         reacting to changing attack patterns;
  •         surviving increasingly difficult phases;
  •         learning where safe areas appear;
  •         repeating failed sections to improve timing;
  •         reaching later parts of the Asriel fight.

The Fight Changes as It Continues

Asriel Fight Simulator does not use traditional levels. Progress is usually divided into phases of the same boss battle. Early attacks may be easier to read, while later sections can introduce denser projectile patterns, faster movement, and attacks that require more precise positioning. Some versions recreate specific attacks from Undertale, while others add original patterns inspired by the same fight.

Practice Is the Main Form of Progress

There is normally no equipment system, exploration, or character development. Improvement comes from learning how each attack behaves and remembering where the heart can move safely. Because the fight is built around repeated attempts, failing a section is part of learning the timing for the next run.

The basic strategy is to keep the heart moving only when necessary and avoid making large movements that lead into another attack. Watching the full pattern is often more useful than reacting to individual projectiles. The simulator is therefore focused almost entirely on dodging and memorizing Asriel’s attacks rather than following a long campaign or completing separate missions.
